Potomac Room I and II, Ballroom Level (FloorplanPDF)
On July 18th, starting at 7:30 p.m., we will have weather and weather-related
interests on exhibit.
This will be another excellent opportunity for EasternUSWx.com members
and other weather hobbyists to meet and greet each other. A cash bar will
also be available. Space is still available, but limited. If you are interested
in exhibiting your items, let
us know as soon as possible.
Confirmed Exhibitors:
- American Meteorological Society -- The AMS will have
printed materials and several books available for viewing
- Kevin Ambrose -- D.C. area professional weather photographer
Kevin Ambrose will exhibit and sell his "Washington Weather"
book and photos
- Wes Junker -- Former HPC forecaster Wes Junker will
discuss "Normalized Anomalies to Anticipate Extreme Rainfall"
- Tony Pann -- WUSA9 D.C. meteorologist Tony Pann will
exhibit and sell his book "How to Find a Good Weather Forecast"
- Howard Phoebus -- D.C. area forecaster Howard Phoebus
will exhibit and sell Rick Schwartz's book "Hurricanes and the
Mid Atlantic States" as well as display photos of major winter
storms in the area
- Weatherbug -- Leading provider of weather information
Weatherbug will have a staffed booth, including an appearance by "Tempy"
the weatherbug mascot. In addition, Weatherbug will be bringing its
StormChaser vehicle -- fully equipped with state of the art weather
tracking and observation gear.
